This fall, a selection of OPTICA’s critical publications have joined the roughly 700,000 tomes that make up the famous Thomas J. Watson Library at the Metropolitan Museum of Art (http://libmma.org/portal/). After being approached by chief librarian Kenneth Soehner, the centre has graciously accepted to donate thirteen works, including “Sur l’expérience de la ville: Interventions en mileu urbain†(1999), “Creative Confusions : Interdisciplinary Practices in Contemporary†(2001), and “La Demeure†(2008). See our online catalogue for more information on these publications and for other essential reading in contemporary art. |
