From April 18 to June 13 2015, OPTICA gives carte blanche to the curator Véronique Leblanc for an exhibition project shown in the two gallery spaces. Exploring artistic practices based on participatory and performative process, this exhibition will feature works based on polyphonic structures that integrate gathered information following anthropological methods. Between polyphony and cacophony, these works explore the relationship between individuality and community, and the tension between self-assertion and integration of normative discourse. In addition to problematize identity and ideological constructions, they draw new relationships between individual stories and history. |
